1 FAITH! We did very well for the Fun'd Run k! And I'm not kidding:D I think that what was important during this whole run, was that we accomplished what we set out to help the school do: Raise funds for the Indoor Sports Hall and the FAS + have some exercise in lieu of Health and Wellness week + learn the important value of perserverance! I think that throughout this whole thing, we all became stronger as a class (remember the team spirit in cheering?:D), learnt to perservere even though times get tough, as well as enjoy one of the last most important events this year as 1 Faith once again:D And to me, that's all I think that matters. But, well in the end we still won so yay:D

Thank you to everyone who helped, one way or another. Especially those who couldn't stop running and those who donated $:D

Anyway, this is the HOMEWORK POST FOR THE SEPTEMBER HOLIDAYS:

If I missed out anything, kindly add whatever I've missed out into the post.

Homework for September holidays:-.

- Emaths:

  • Plot the graphs which equations have been given on the worksheet that Miss Liu gave out (Graphs of Linear Equations). Note that there are 2 questions and that its due on Friday during the Maths remedial (I think). Kay here's the important part:

NOTE:
THERE IS AN ERROR IN QUESTION 1 and 2 (as said by Miss Liu today in class). The tables should have 'x' on top, not 'y'. 'y' should be below so please change it!

- English:

  • Read Monday (31 August 09)'s issue of IN Magazine pages 8-9 and reflect on the following questions:

- Are Singaporeans really living in unity or just tolerating each other?
- Are some races discriminated? If so, in what way?

You have to do both questions on your English Newspaper Reflection Book.

  • Write, on construction paper, a detailed description of your idol. It must include a picture.


- Chinese:

  • Do all the 作业 (of the 课 we have learnt) and stop at 25 课.
  • Pass up your 听写 books when school reopens.
  • If you have not handed in your 习字 books for marking today, hand them in when school reopens.
  • Do a 作文 on the topic: "一件珍贵的礼物" in your 作文 books. It must be 250 words and above.

- D&T:

  • For 1F1, complete your design journals (If you haven't).
  • Bring your D&T file and sketchbook to hand it in when school reopens.

- Art:

  • Finish your papier mache sculptures (which is due when school reopens)
  • Bring your D&T (yes, D&T) textbooks for art lesson when school reopens.

- CD/RE:

  • Go to ecareers.sg (clickable) and follow the instructions on the handout on 'ecareers' that Miss Fu gave today during CD/RE.
  • Sign your progress report books and hand them in to Miss Fu when school reopens.


That should be all. If you need to ask anything that you're unsure about, do tag on the tagboard and ask politely or ask any Faithers you think may know. See you all when school reopens and don't forget that you have to bring your thermometers on the Monday when school reopens. Be guai this holiday, Faithers! Take care and see you on the week after next:D
