June2009's work. URGH.
Thursday, 28 May 2009 17:29
Okay, for all of you 1 Faithers reading this, please ensure you have:

1 Maths worksheet on Number Sequences.
1 Geography worksheet w/ map reading on one side of the paper.
The Literature worksheet. Please note, you must have the NEW ONE. It was redistributed as there were some problems (I'm not sure what, but just) please ensure you have the NEW COPY okay?
The letter as given out by Rebecca Tan, regarding Monday's Aesthetics Performance thing.
Your sketchbook.
Your sec 1 creative journal checklist for Art.

PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THE FOLLOWING ITEMS, GO AND ASK PUNITHA AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AND SHE WILL SEE WHAT SHE CAN DO.

Okay so now, on to the work:
If I missed out anything, kindly add whatever I've missed out into the post.
You have my permission to edit it. BUT ONLY THE HOMEWORK PART.
Don't you dare touch anything else. Thanks uh!

Homework for: the June holidays

- Maths:
  • Following the worksheet that you have, go to http://www.ace-learning.com.sg (clickable) and log in and self-learn the topic, Number Sequences. You also have to fill in the worksheet because our teacher will be checking it when school reopens.

- Geography:
  • Referring to your worksheet, (I'm not exactly sure if you're supposed to do on foolscap but I guess you could!) do all the assignments. Then staple it together with the worksheet so you don't lose it!

- Literature:
  • This sounds fun! Hahah. Er. You have to watch:
-> Shawn the Sheep (on Okto)
-> Monsters vs Aliens (it's damn good, I tell you!) (at the Cinema)
->Monsters Inc. (Rent/watch online/see which channel coincidentally is showing it?)
-> Shrek 1,2 &3
->Mathilda, based on the book by Rhoald Dahl (Rent/watch online/see which channel coincidentally is showing it?)
->Wall E (Rent/watch online/see which channel coincidentally is showing it?)
After doing so, answer all the questions on the handout.

- Art:
  • Do a replica of the Artist's work w/ your own content. (FYI, it's the one which we had to draw grid lines for. Remember Mrs Khoo said that for this one, we can either add in our own parts to the painting or change the colour scheme? That's the one.)
  • Follow Sec 1 Creative Journal Checklist. Do all the following on A5. (Follow the instructions on the paper) You either make a booklet or buy one. And FYI (again), A5 ISN'T drawing block size. It's the size of the handout. ('Cause when you talk about paper, the bigger the number beside the alphabet, the smaller the size of the paper and vice versa. Okay?) Mrs Khoo also mentioned that you could repeat whatever you wanted. For example, if you did number 1 and you aren't happy w/ the original, you can re-do it but DO NOT throw away the original. Still keep it and submit it. (That's what Mrs Khoo instructed)

Got it, you all?
If you aren't sure, please go and our class people!
But don't go and ask those blurblur ones and then you all cluelessly do wrongly!
Okay. This is where I stop.
You can also ask me, if you want. I'll answer all that I can k!

Please remember to stay safe & not get into trouble this holiday, 1 Faith!
Let's show everyone we're a super guai class! Which we alr are, just that we talk too much!
Hahahah. Remember to take the necessary precautions when travelling overseas, esp. to H1N1 infected areas.
Takecare, see you when school reopens, 1 Faith:)
Oh, and. Speaking of when school reopens, this only serves as a reminder! NOTE:
As Ms Adeline Ng mentioned earlier today, there will be a spot check (and temperature taking exercise) when school reopens.
So, for those that have no thermometer, hurry go get one! & those that brought theirs home, remember to bring it back okay!
As for those that look rly messy (like me! HAHAHA), please go tidy up during the holidays so you will look neat (& more importantly, refrain from getting booked!) when school reopens.

Thanks, 1 Faith!

I hope this is okay.
I have updated the "Links" bit so most of the links work.
As requested, I have added the playlist.
With the song suggested by Leane, old songs from the previous playlist as well as new songs.
Here's a list of the songs!
(In order)
DJ Sammy - Heaven
Jordin Sparks - One Step at a Time
Lenka - The Show
Toybox - Tarzan and Jane
Taylor Swift - Love Story
Miley Cyrus - The Climb
Lady Gaga (Feat. Flo Rida) - Starstruck

There are a total of 7 songs. Hope it's okay.
And don't delete the playlist hor.
Even if you don't like it, don't delete it.
Tell me first.
Same goes for the skin.
If you don't say also nevermind la.
Then next time not my problem alr.
Okay. Good luck 1 Faith!
Lucky I finish copying my notes alr.
Gna continue studying now.

Remember :/
Monday, 4 May 2009 16:21
Oh, oh, oh! This is REALLY important. Just a reminder!
For those that have seen this, please spread the word (anyway it's the exam period. I doubt anyone can see this. Even I initially couldn't use the comp but I had to ask specially!)

Remember to;

1. Remove all pieces of paper and all unnecessary items from your pencilbox (and wallet, if you want to,) before the day of each exam. (I suggest removing your correction tape as well in case you use it by accident)
2. Put ALL electronic devices into your bag before the exam. No prohibited items, such as iPods, mobile phones and cameras should be with you during any time while the exam is in progress.
3. Get dark blue pen. It is strongly suggested you use dark blue. I have no idea why but yeah.
4. Check if your calculators or dictionaries are in well working condition before the day with the exams that require it (like Mother Tongue, General Science or Mathematics and Geography)
5. Pack extra batteries for your electronic dictionaries if need be.
Most importantly,
6. STUDY REAL HARD!

If I have missed anything out, some kind soul, please, kindly add them on for the benefit of the class! Spread the work to blurblocks (like Sally-.-") who would forget.

Thanks so much, 1 Faith:)

Love,
Beatrix:]

Hello 1 Faith:)
No, I'm not permanently back.
It's still temporary until MY-Es are overrrrr!
Hahaha. Speaking of which,
Good luck for Mid-Year Exams:)
Remember to cramcramcram ah.
We can do this people! We can, I know we can!
& I saw the post.
Thank you SO MUCH to the people who stood up for me and gave me credit.
However, I have alr mentioned that I'm not the sole moderator of the blog (If I even am.)
So, credit should also be given to the others that helped :D
As for the "passerby" person that posted that,
I'm not saying anything about you but yala,
if you wna post right, PLEASE don't be afraid of being labeled or judged or criticised.
Leave your name, please. Then we know who posted it.
It's alr bad enough we have unsolved mysteries in this world. Don't make a new one for us to solve.
Okay, I really should stop here in case I start being lame again.
Take care 1 Faith:))
I don't think there's homework, so err. This is it.
If there is, it's my bad man! I didn't know.
I only know that the Maths latest due tomorrow :/
Hahaha. Okay. Study reaaaall hardd.
Jiayous all:DDD
Much love,
